Twi-vent Calendar for 6th December

Happy 6th December Twi-HoHoHo's!

TwiWeasel sent me the pic of her tree to share with you all (cos she thinks we give a shit or something).  LOL, only joking, TBH I need all the Christmassy input I can get.  I asked Mr Stan to get our tree out of the attic yesterday but apparently it's too early.  Bah Humbug & all that.  We've got a Christmas party to go to later today so maybe that will get him in the spirit a little more.  We can hope!

So, I decided that we'd make TwiWeasel's tree our calendar door pic for today.  Here it is!

Aww!  Great tree TwiWeasel!  It's beautif.... hang on a minute.  Do you all see what I see?

Closer look???!!

Now I have no fucking idea if the bitch did this on purpose, but it just about made me snort my coffee out all over the computer this morning.

It also made chosing today's picture a lot easier - it's such a drag trawling through all my Twilight pics for these posts you know *sigh*.

So, here's our calendar boy of the day

Tattward!  Wooooooo!!!!

Now, I have no idea where I picked this little gem up from, so if it belongs to anyone and they want crediting for it (and you WILL get credit for this one ;o) ), then get in touch, happy to do it.

19 days to go!!!!

@Stan - Oh. My. Hell. I so have to send you, or at least TwiWeasel some pictures from my house. You see, I have a Christmas tree, a deer head, and turkey feathers at my house, too, just not displayed together. She has the trifecta!

And Tattward belongs to which ff story? I'm SO late to that party, as you know.

@ Lisa. I'll look forward to that one. Dead animals on walls are rarely seen other than in castles over here LOL.

Tattward is from Clipped Wings & Inked Armour by HunterHunting, you should give it a read, it's good - the Hello Kitty reference is from there too ;o)

@Stan - Sadly enough, I also have a drake mallard over my fireplace and countless deer antlers decorating my humble "castle." Somewhere during our 29 years of marriage, I lost control of the house. You'll see what I mean eventually :)

That is the ff title that I keep seeing mentioned. I just registered for a ff account this morning and figured out how to add you and your chapters to my "Favorites." I have family coming for my daughter's birthday in about nine hours, so I know I won't get to it for a few days, but I plan on reading it first. Promise. I liked the first chapter that I read a few weeks ago. Then I guess I'm going to have to break down and check out Tattward.

LOL at you losing control of the house, I'm sure Mr Stan feels the same way about my Rob posters ;o).

I'm touched that you'll pop your ff cherry with my story :o). And yes, check Tattward out, you won't regret it!

I just logged into the ff site and it's late and I'm tired, I know, but I don't see where I can search by title and/or author. What tab is that under? Do you know?

Will get you the link Lisa, one mo...

Clipped Wings & Inked Armour

Mrs. P! Perhaps we need a recommended ff's bit on here?

Oh God, I hate that photo of Rob, IDK why. I think he looks gay in that one. Not that I have anything against gay people, but I have a lot against Rob looking gay.

@Stan - I think you do need to add recommended ff's.

@Stan - Thanks for the link! I practically fell asleep at my computer after asking you for it and went to bed for a few hours. I'm going to go and save the info right now.

Now that makes three authors I have saved (pointing at you, Jelena).

I've had various stages of popped ff cherries:

(1) Via Post - JJ's Ch 9
(2) Via Direct Link - Stan's Ch 1
(3) Via FF.net - Jelena's Ch 1
(4) Via ff rec - HunterHunting TBD

I wonder when I'll be able to go all the way? I'm still scared as hell that those precious few hours of sleep I've been getting are going to escape me now, too.

Okay, ladies, I've got a house full of people coming in about about five hours, so you won't hear much from me today. Aren't you lucky!

@Lisa - I know exactly what you mean. Back in September, I started my own blog, and only had something like three entries before I decided that I would shine much better in fanfiction. But lately, I've had so much to say on Twilight, that I'm considering reviving my blog. My only concern is whether I'll be able to live my life off the fucking internet if I start blogging again. What the gals here at Twi-sted did is perfect. There's three of them, so they take turns. I am seriously petrified.

@Jelena - I hear ya. Yes, I'm back. I thought of something I wanted to add to the freaking mile-long post I worked on all night for my blog.

And that's the problem, girlie. It's totally addictive. I can see why people join forces to blog. (Hell, Mrs. P and I at TwiBite are practically there now!) It's something I've seriously considered. Just sayin'. Let me know if/when you decide to jump off the deep end :)

No dead animals on the walls here. We did bury our tortoise Norman in the garden last year though. He was dead btw ;)

Stan said...

@ Mary PMSL! RIP Norm, he was special (in the proper way though, not like us ;o) )

No dead animals on the walls here either, but I also have a pet cemetary in back. One cat, and one very special fish. The rest of the fish had a Naval burial (umm, toilet). When I first started the fish hobby, they had about, ohhh, a 48-hour lifespan. I currently have a tomato clown fish that is 14 1/2 years old! I had no idea they could live that long!!

@TwiWeasel - Love the tree, but how come you didn't hang some Twilight ornaments off the deer antlers? Don't worry about losing control of the house. It took 13 years and a remodel for me to get rid of Mr. Any Mouse' beer steins, ugh.

TwiWeasel said...

@ Stan - PMSL!! I didn't even realize that was there! That's my youngest's "pink mee-met." I did not do that on purpose, but I wish I had!

@ Lisa - Trifecta...LOL! In our living room alone, we have three deer heads, two turkey fans, two bobcats (one is a full body mount and one is a rug), a large mouth bass, lots of deer and turkey pictures and tons of antlers. Oh, and now the Christmas Tree. And one more thing, Lisa...READ CLIPPED WINGS & INKED ARMOUR!!!!! It's totes awesomesauce!

@ Jelena - The three gals thing is fairly new, but did come around because Stan was writing for two different blogs as well as following about a million others...She still does most of the writing here though!

@ Mary - Glad to hear Norman was dead before you put him in the ground.

@ Z Any Mouse - Mr. TwiWeasel would kill me dead if I DARED to hang something Twilight upon one of his Precious *snicker* deer antlers. Usually, I hang small wreaths and mistle toe from them. I just haven't gotten it done yet.

Zanymouse said...

@TwiWeasel - how about getting ahold of that Jacob mask Stan had, and decorating the Precious (deer) with that. Have a camcorder ready for Mr. TW's reaction.

@Stan, Mary & TwiWeasel - I finally finished the post with my Christmas tree if you want to check it out. As promised, I included a picture of my dead animals (oh, and one live one). Mary, I was sorry to hear about Norman ;)

@TwiWeasel - I put more pics in an album on Photobucket. Hopefully, this link will take you there. At least my husband's turkey feather fans (he has three!) are out in his workshop. LOL!

@Stan - I actually got an alert today that you had added another ff chapter. Congrats! It looks like I signed up correctly, then. Now I just have to find/make time to read yours, Jelena's, and the highly regarded HunterHunting's. Later!
