Something momentous happened yesterday. Yes, I left my seat in front of the laptop voluntarily! What could have brought this on? Well, I'll tell you. It was the book 'Fallen' by Lauren Kate, as recommended in the latest Peach Grove over at The Lemon Sisters blog. I'm not going to go into the details here, I think it's only fair that you should get yourself over to their blog to read about it seeing as they did all the work in the first place, but it's well worth the read. I'm half way through and I know Mrs Vanquish has already finished it.
I've decided to select the images in this post with my eyes closed. No lie! This is your first one :o)
This morning I received a package from TwiWeasel. It actually made a strange sound when I moved it, but that turned out just to be the jingle
ball bell hair tie she'd put in, LOL. The other contents were very exciting - she'd basically stolen toys from her children just so that I'd have a Riley & Victoria for any Eclipse work that Chimpsten & Mini-E are required to do. Glad to see I'm not the only one that manages their kids' toy collection based on what might be funny when teamed with a sock-puppet monkey!
(Remind me to choose my pics this way more often)
Speaking of Chimpsten, she stars in Mrs. P's TwiBite Challenge today, you can find it here: Chimpsten stars on TwiBite. Our favourite chimp has also started her own Twitter account, based upon her growing
notoriety fame. You can follow her here: @Chimpsten
Oh, one last mention I want to make. The blogosphere's Betti Gefecht has been nominated for an Indie Twific Award for her story Your True Colours - Congratulations Betti! It's a really good read and I recommend having a look. It's different to most other fics out there. You can find a link to the story's blog here.
Finally, seeing as it's the beginning of the week I thought I'd do a rollcall and see who's about, just reply with who you are, where you are and the answer to this Fuck, Marry, Kill conundrum: Mike Newton, Paul and Billy Black ;o)
Looking forward to your answers Ho's!
