Friday Fun Five (+1)!!

Hello my lovely ho's!  Yes, I'm back from the land of 'kicked up the bum by RL'!  It's been horrible away from you all, I've not even had chance to read all of the bloggy goodness out there for the past week.  Well, at last Mr Stan has some work so is out of the house for the day, the kids are all well again, the visitors have left and the decorating can go fuck itself :o).

Thanks to everyone who read and reviewed my first attempt at a one-shot Unravel Me.  Unfortunately I didn't get through to the final 20 stories in the Black Balloon Contest that go to the public vote today.  Good luck to everyone who did though.  There were 72 entries in total, so I say that anyone that even got through to the last 20 did incredibly well.

As far as my one-shot is concerned, well, that's just the beginning.  I'd already started work on a new Edward & Bella fic and decided to write Unravel Me as Edward's back story to get more of a feel for where he's coming from.  I can't wait to start posting my new one online, but Natural Satellites & Shooting Stars is still ongoing and hasn't been updated in a while so I need to do some work on that first.  Oh, and Jingle Balls seems to have had a rise in popularity, for some mysterious reason it's been favourited by six new people this month :oS.  It still makes me laugh how popular it's been when I rattled it out so quickly and posted it without a beta or anything.

Anyway, enough about me, it's Friday which means it's the Friday Fun Five!  This week's questions are from Musing Bella, so over to her!

OME!! I am beyond flattered that StarlitViolets chose me to win last Friday's Fun Five - who knew I just had to write her a mini-semi-porno? Anyway, I hope I don't repeat any previous questions, because I recently came out as Team Robsten, and I feel I might be walking a fine line with some of you as a result. Plus, smartEpantz and I have been fighting about cheesecake and playlists, so it's been very stressful. ;P

I hope these are okay questions, and I look forward to reading your answers!! (Stan, I'm sending you a bonus question in case one is a repeat - I looked back at the last several FFF, but just in case... or if you think one of my other questions/prompts is supremely lame. You decide!)

1) This week I found a photo of a half-sleeve tattoo of what I think is supposed to be Rob as Edward holding an apple in the forest, and underneath are the words "You are my life now." Would you ever get a Twilight-related tatt, and, if so, what would you get? If not, why not?

2) What are your favorite and least favorite book-to-movie adaptations, and why?

3) What do you like most about where you currently live? (This can be as specific as your home or neighborhood, or as broad as the city/state/province - you decide!)

4) Tell us your best/funniest joke.

Hahaha!  You ho's kill me!

5) How badly do you want Stephenie to finish Midnight Sun? Get creative with those metaphors and similes, ladies (and gents?) - example: "I want it like a man stranded in the desert wants water." Hit me with your best simile!

BONUS (in case of duplications or general lameness) Stan: Ah, what the hell, I'm leaving it in anyway, just for the hell of it!: Imagine you’re in charge of picking the song for the very end of BD (when Bella lifts her shield and Edward can read her thoughts) – what song would you choose to play through that moment and sweep us into credits for the end of the saga?

Yeah, so that's my FFF (or FFF+1...). *shrug* Happy Friday, fellow twatwaffles!

Thanks Musing Bella, fab questions :o).  Ok, answers in the comments as always and the winner that Musing Bella chooses will set next week's questions.

I'm FIIIIRRRRRSSSTTT!!! Yay! I just had to have a ten-year-old moment. I'm better now.

@MusingBella - Brilliant questions!!! You're making me look good in front of the girls. LMAO!!! Mwah! XOXOXO

@All - I'm going to have to answer a bit later. It's 2 am here, so I'm not sure my answers would be as witty as they could be if I did it now. So - unitl tomorrow, er, later today...

NibbleitPattinsonakaNebilet said...

Fuck me, these are hard....I'm gonna have to think about these. I'm at work lol I don't like to think :0)

Becky said...

Oh me too1 I am joining the 'answer later' bandwagon, lol. Got the oven man coming and I need tidy round first, so he can atleast get to it! Fab questions, I will be thinking about the song!!

NibbleitPattinsonakaNebilet said...

I hate fucking blooger, I answered the whole thing and its gone!

NibbleitPattinsonakaNebilet said...

Yes blooger cos its a big booger cock blocking blogging fucking bogey!

NibbleitPattinsonakaNebilet said...

1)Tattoo-All my tattoos have meaning and are personal-If a quote or passage particualrly meant something to me then I would but in actuality because nothing has really impacted to make me want it permanently on my body then this is a fucking long winded no-fucking blogger eating my comments once doesn't help grrrr

2)Ok-my favourite is ta daaaa Twilight because its sticks pretty close to the book and its always gonna be my favourite Twi film anyway as its been made better then NM. It catches the ethereal otherworldliness of the vampires whereas NM is more about blockbuster status-sorry its how I feel. Least is not a film its actually a TV series and its True Blood-even though I totally love the series and watch it religiously it does not follow the books hardly at all and it screws with my delicately balanced mind...I will still continue to watch it though and buy ther books lol. I drive Mr Nibbles mad with films where I have already read the books by constantly saying well that didn't happen in the book! Oops...

3)I like where I live even though I have lived in lots and lots of places ( I've moved 22 times since birth-just call me gypsy)because there is always something to do here. Major bands and comedians play here all the time and I love going to gigs. Its also very close to major historical sights and fantastic countryside-otherwise I'd like to live in Clearwater please

4)Okay 2 guys sitting by a fountain 1st guy is praying for forgiveness and the 2nd guy says "are you looking for jesus?"
1st guy says "he will never forgive me"
2nd guy wants to bring him to his senses, show him we're masters of our own destiny kinda thing so he shoves 1st guys head in the fountain and holds it underwater.
As he brings him up he says "did you find Jesus?"
1st guy says "No but I saw a shopping trolley"
2nd guy says "you're not getting it" and shoves him under again
He drags him up spluttering and asks "Did you find Jesus?" 1st guy " no but I saw a little doll I'd kinda like"
Argh yells 2nd guy and shoves him in again, on bringing him up he asks again "Did you find Jesus?"
1st guy looks at him and says "Are you sure he fell in?"

5) I want SM to finish Midnigh Sun as bad as I want to fuck Robert Pattinson for hours on end until my vagina explodes from the friction of non stop shagging!

6) I want Paramores-The Only Exception to play out Breaking Dawn as it sums up the whole saga for me-Bella's parents splitting up, her feeling alone in the world, different, finding Edward, almost losing him and never being sure until she realises he is the only exception.

NibbleitPattinsonakaNebilet said...

Here are the lyrics to Paramores-The Only Exception-it was all too long for blogger so here is the extra bit lol

When I was younger
I saw my daddy cry
And curse at the wind
He broke his own heart
And I watched
As he tried to reassemble it

And my momma swore that
She would never let herself forget
And that was the day that I promised
I'd never sing of love
If it does not exist

But darling,
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception

Maybe I know, somewhere
Deep in my soul
That love never lasts
And we've got to find other ways
To make it alone
Keep a straight face

And I've always lived like this
Keeping a comfortable, distance
And up until now
I had sworn to myself that I'm
Content with loneliness

Because none of it was ever worth the risk

Well, You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception

I've got a tight grip on reality
But I can't
Let go of what's in front of me here
I know you're leaving
In the morning, when you wake up
Leave me with some kind of proof it's not a dream

Ohh---

You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception
You, are, the only exception

And I'm on my way to believing
Oh, And I'm on my way to believing

Just read your answers Nibbles. I love that Paramore song, it is perfect! Not gonna bother answering that question now, lol!

NibbleitPattinsonakaNebilet said...

Aw really, I mean I thought it was perfect but that's just me. I like Paramore as it is but I'm in love with this song the way I 'm in love with Inner Smile by Texas which is kinda soft core for me lol. I was playing Inner Smile this morning driving to work and it makes me feel happy and sexy and young....er lol its the lyrics again, actually that could be a good song for the end but I still stand by Paramore...inner smile lyrics...
Yeah, yeah, yeah, ....

You gave me something
Like loving
And took me in so soon
You took my feelings
from nothing
Came back at noon
Just meet me
I'm ready
To show myself to you

So if I lose my patience
You must try to understand
(try to understand)
If I lose my patience
Ooooh yeaaaaaaaah

Refrain :
Cause you make me feel
Cause you make me feel wild
You touch my inner smile
You got me in the mood
So come and make your rule
And free me

You make my wishes
As much as
Your kisses make me blue
You've found my river
Now will you
Escape away too
But baby
I'm ready
I'm falling into you

So if I lose my patience
You must try to understand
(try to understand)
If I lose my patience
ooooh yeaaaaaaah

Refrain
Free me
Free me
Wooow wooow wooooow
Wooow wooow wooooow
Wooow yeaaaaaaaah

Cause you make me feel wild
You touch my inner smile
You got me in the mood
So come and make your rule
And touch my inner smile
Come get my inner smile, smile, smile
Yeaaaaah yeaaaaaaaah

Sometimes I need to be alone
There's times I need for you to phone
Sometimes you make me feel so high
There's times I ask myself: "Why?"

Ok, my turn!

1) This week I found a photo of a half-sleeve tattoo of what I think is supposed to be Rob as Edward holding an apple in the forest, and underneath are the words "You are my life now." Would you ever get a Twilight-related tatt, and, if so, what would you get? If not, why not?

I'd like one in theory, but I'd get a quote, not a picture (the reason for this can be seen in the example pic in the post lol!), although I guess if Kat Von D was offering to do a portrait then I might take her up on it! When I first got caught up in the books I said to Mary that I'd love to get 'And so the lion fell in love with the lamb' witten in Edward's script, just because I love the book so much, but I think it's all too popular now and it wouldn't be the same.
Realistically I don't think I'd ever get a tattoo, because I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like it in the future.

2) What are your favorite and least favorite book-to-movie adaptations, and why?

I think Harry Potter is probably my favourite, basically because all of the scenery and everything was just as I'd imagined it in my mind's eye and it was magical. Sorry, but I can't say that about Twilight!
Least favourite? Erm, this is one of those 'my mind has gone blank' questions. I didn't hate it, but The Vampire's Assistant was nothing like the book.

3) What do you like most about where you currently live? (This can be as specific as your home or neighborhood, or as broad as the city/state/province - you decide!)

I live in the countryside and it's beautiful, everyone who visits our house says that they love it and having lived in a scuzzy town I fully appreciate it. I aim to make my boys do the same too, because too many of the kids round here take it for granted.

4) Tell us your best/funniest joke.

I'm not saying it's that funny, but my fave is:
Q: What do you call a man with a small willy?
A: Justin

5) How badly do you want Stephenie to finish Midnight Sun? Get creative with those metaphors and similes, ladies (and gents?) - example: "I want it like a man stranded in the desert wants water." Hit me with your best simile!

I want it like Beacob's manky nails want a manicure ;o)

BONUS Imagine you’re in charge of picking the song for the very end of BD (when Bella lifts her shield and Edward can read her thoughts) – what song would you choose to play through that moment and sweep us into credits for the end of the saga?
I really love Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap. I've spent far too long trying to think of an answer to this so am just going to go with that!

Made a boo boo on the last one..here's try #2!

Morning lovelies!!!!

1)If I were to get a Twilight Tattoo...it would say "It would be nice to not want to kill you all the time".

2)Fave book to movie adaptations---Twilight, obviously, and Harry Potter. Least fave --- A tree grows in Brooklyn (old movie)...they made it too "fluffy"

3)I live on an island off of Manhatten...so it's traffic ridden and there's only one way out, so it sucks. What I do like is that it has everything (stores, entertainment, and fashion) and it has beautiful seasons.

4)How does a blonde turn off her night light? She shuts the car door...

5)How badly do i want Steph to finish Midnight Sun? As badly as I want to garggle sand. I don't really care, because i get the point...he wants to kill her all the time.

6) when she releases the shield they should play "Crazy Train" by Ozzy...so I can hear "ALL ABOARD, HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!" really loud in the theater, admit it...it would rock. Or maybe, Good Girls Go Bad by Cobra Starship. Oooh! Or maybe London Bridge by Fergie...so we can hear "Oh Snap!" when she snaps the shield back. OR...Welcome To The Jungle by Guns and Roses. OK, I'll stop now.

Great questions!!!!

TigerlilyRose said...

@ Mrs P...great tat idea for you...LOL...I just might like that one too...heehee

1. Mine would say " Totally Twitarded and this Tattoo's my proof"

2. Favorite Twilight and Memoirs of a Geisha...Least Favorite--The Horse Whisperer...they changed the whole second half of the book...doesn't even end close to the same...very disappointing!

3. I hate that I am so far from any sort of culture. Only two radio stations to pick from, no Art museums, ampatheatres, rural fashion is boring (but then so any I...LOL) etc. Feel like I miss out on a lot of good stuff sometimes...especially music, there are so many songs and artists you all mention that I have never heard because we don't have exposure to them here!

I love that everyone knows everyone else and that we have a gentle mix of concrete and nature.

4. I am a HORRIBLE joke teller.

5. I want it like a prostitute wants antibiotics.

Stoney said...

1) Tattoo:
Ugghh...I hate that that terrible tattoo as well. It's so bad. If you are going to get a portrait, spend the money and get it done by someone who specializes in portraits.
I'm a tattoo fiend. I have several, and my hubtard is covered.
I am actually getting a Twilight related tattoo but it's going to be a surprise b/c it's a blog post...and I don't want anyone to rip off my idea. MUHAHAHAHHAHA.
As for regretting tattoos...for me I don't regret any of mine. At that time in my life that tattoo meant a lot to me so I kind of look at them as a roadmap of my life. Each one has a story.

2) What are your favorite and least favorite book-to-movie adaptations, and why?

Favorite - Harry Potter and/or Twilight. They are pretty close.

Least Fav - OMG the Sword of Truth novels by Terry Goodkind. They are so effing amazing and then they tried to make it a TV series and completey butcherd them. So bad. I was so pissed.

3) What do you like most about where you currently live?

I miss Michigan a lot. I miss the weather, the water, and the beautiful "up North"...M21 if you Michiganders are out there.

But I am 100% in love with St. Louis. I live outside the city so I get the best of both worlds. I have room to have horses but 20 mins away is city life. St. Louis has such an amzing culture, art scene, and some wicked cool people. I love the Delmar Loop and Soulard areas like a fat kid loves cake.

4) Tell us your best/funniest joke.

Well...I have worked in Veterinary medicine for many many moons so I heart me some doggie jokes.

How many dogs does it take to change a lightbulb?

GOLDEN RETRIEVER:
The sun is shining, the day is young, we've got our whole lives ahead of us, and you're inside worrying about a stupid burned out bulb?

BORDER COLLIE:
Just one. And then I'll replace any wiring that's not up to code.

DACHSHUND:
You know I can't reach that stupid lamp!

ROTTWEILER:
Make me.

LAB:
Oh, me, me!!!! Pleeeeeeze let me change the light bulb! Can I? Can I? Huh? Huh? Huh? Can I?

JACK RUSSELL TERRIER:
I'll just pop it in while I'm bouncing off the walls and furniture.

POODLE:
I'll just blow in the Border Collie's ear and he'll do it. By the time he finishes rewiring the house, my nails will be dry.

COCKER SPANIEL:
Why change it? I can still pee on the carpet in the dark.

DOBERMAN:
While it's dark, I'm going to sleep on the couch.

BOXER:
Who cares? I can still play with my squeaky toys in the dark......

POINTER:
I see it, there it is, there it is, right there....

GREYHOUND:
It isn't moving. Who cares?

AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG:
First, I'll put all the light bulbs in a little circle..

OLD ENGLISH SHEEP DOG:
Light bulb? I'm sorry, but I don't see a light bulb?

HOUND DOG:
ZZZZZZzzzzz.z.z.z..z..z..z...z

CATS:
Dogs do not change light bulbs. People change light bulbs. So, the question is: How long will it be before I can expect light?

ALL OF WHICH PROVES, ONCE AGAIN, THAT WHILE DOGS HAVE MASTERS, CATS HAVE STAFF...

5) How badly do you want Stephenie to finish Midnight Sun?

I am up in the air on this one. I really want to read it but Mrs. P made a good point the other day, if she were to continue it would just be another 150 pages of Edward whining about how much he wants to kill her and that might get redundant.

Who am I kidding, I'd still read it.

BONUS what song would you choose to play through that moment and sweep us into credits for the end of the saga?

Umm...Me So Horny...

Just kidding this one will take some thought. I'll get back to you.

Becky said...

1. That tatt is enough to put me off, lol. Its awful, nothing like Edward! If I found something I really liked I would get one, probably too old now though!

2. mmm I think the film adaptations are never as good as the book, ever, so I don't really have a favourite . My least fav is going to be Twilight (runs & hides). I loved the film, but when I read the book it made me realise how much they left out. They miss all the humour between E & B, and they missed out her sleep talking which was one of my fav bits!

3.I like living so close to the South. Cornwall is only a couple of hours away. Theres loads to do round here and just over the bridge is the big concert venue.

4. I can't tell jokes, i am rubbish. I can ruin even the funniest joke. Let's just not go there.

5. I love EPOV, more so than Bella's. I want it like I want lose a stone, tone the fuck up and look 10 years younger!

6. Now Nibbles has mentioned the Paramore song I can't think of anthing else, lol! Will have to think about it some more!

Banshee713 said...

1: Eww, that one just might put me off getting a tatt at all. But if I did get a Twi-tatt, it would be something small and discreet, like a little apple on my ass.

2. Hmmm, this is tough, but I think the first Harry Potter is one of the best I've seen. I also liked the TV adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Hogfather. The Colour of Magic, not so much.
The worst adaptation award goes to...Hannibal. It just plain sucked. I loved the book, the ending was amazing, so what do they do? Change it. Beyond recognition. WTF, Ridley Scott?!

3. Where I live is pretty close to Dublin, but still very much the countryside, so it's kinda the best of both worlds. I have plenty of space for my rabbits and dogs, but I can go shopping or to concerts pretty easily. Woohoo!

4. Okay, I suck at telling jokes, so forgive me if this doesn't turn out right.
Three men get married, one to a Mexican woman, one to an American woman and one to an Irish woman. They decide that they should make it clear to their wives what they want done around the house: the place to be kept clean, laundry done, food on the table.

The first man tells his wife what he wants her to do. On the first day, he sees a little improvement, and by the second day everything's pretty much as he wants it.

The second man tells his American wife what to do. On the fist day, he sees no improvement. On the second day, the kitchen's looking a little tidier. On the third day, there's a delicious dinner on the table. On the fourth day, everything's perfect.

The third man tells his Irish wife what to do. On the first day, he can't see anything. By the second day, the swelling has gone down and he can see through one eye. By the third day his arm has healed enough that he can make himself a sandwich.

5. I need it as bad as Edward needs to get rid of the constant hard-on he's had since sneaking into Bella's room the first time.

6. Nine Inch Nails Closer. "I wanna fuck you like an animal..." Hehe.

Posting, then going back to read… (gah these were hard MusingBella)… Happy Friday

1) Twi-tatt
No I wouldn’t. I love Twildom- but it’s not something I would ever get tatted anywhere on my body. Sheesh, it took me 10 years to decide on 1 tattoo.

2) What are your favorite and least favorite book-to-movie adaptations, and why?

Most fave: The Color Purple

Least fave: Joy Luck Club

3) What do you like most about where you currently live?
I love living close to Washington DC. There are lots of cultural & foodie activities, free museums and lots of historical things for all ages just a stone’s throw away. We have gorgeous moutains to the north, south and west and rivers & an ocean to the east.(I only hate the touristy times of the year, like now. And only beacuse the tourists disrupt my commute... stand right & walk left folks)

4) Tell us your best/funniest joke.
What did the egg say to the boiling water? It may take me a minute to get hard; I just got laid by this chick.

5) How badly do you want Stephenie to finish Midnight Sun?
I want it as badly as Jackson wants a new hair & wardrobe stylist.

BONUS BD song
Going with an old fave Sade “No Ordinary Love”
I gave you all the love I got
I gave you more than I could give
I gave you love
I gave you all that I have inside
And you took my love
You took my love

Didn't I tell you
What I believe
Did somebody say that
A love like that won't last
Didn't I give you
All that I've got to give baby

I keep crying
I keep crying for you
There's nothing like you and I baby

This is no ordinary love
No ordinary love
This is no ordinary love
No ordinary love

When you came my way
You brightened every day
With your sweet smile

Cake That Nikki said...

I'm gonna have a go but my son is doing my head in big style so I may not finish!

TwiTat
I'm not sure if i'd want one now. I do want another tattoo at some point. I'd quite like something behind my ear

Movie adaptations
Fave Twilight, it has to be, I watch it all the time!
Least fave, most of the Stephen Kings. I love his books but they don't translate well into film

Where I live
It's not too bad here. I'm pretty close to everywhere I need to be *shrugs* I'd love to live somewhere like Stans though, it's pretty perfect there

Joke
What do you call a man with a shovel on his head? Doug
What do you call a man without a shovel on his head? Dougless................lame I know but they always make me chuckle

Midnight Sun
I want it as badly as I want Rob and Gerard Butler in a threesome with me (my younger more attractive self obv)

Song
My fave at the minute cos it's fucking filthy Tinie Tempah, pass out

@MB ~ Baaaaahahhaaa!! Arguing about cheesecake and playlists...you so phunneee! I feel that I came out on top (badumbum) of the great cheesecake debate. Sayin'.

I'll answer and then read...

1) I sadly cannot answer this question here. Instead I encourage you to be on the lookout for my next post, which will be up later tonight....or tomorrow at the very latest! I know I'm being a secretive snatchface. Deal. **wicked chuckles**

2) Good one! I'd say my fave book to movie is "The Color Purple" by Alice Walker. I've read that book so many times, I've lost count. The movie is so accurate, and the actors really bring the characters to life and do the story justice.
Least fave....hmmmm **taps forehead**
Let me just say that I'm a rabid Stephen King fan, but almost all of his film adaptations suck hairy ballsacks. With the exception of "Stand by Me", but I think that's because it was originally a short story and so it wasn't necessary to cut a bunch of relevant storylines. Mr. King is an epic writer and he packs so much into his stories that to accurately retell them onscreen would result in a 10hr movie.

3) This is a toughie for me as I live in a shittyass 2bdrm apt, in an unsavory neighborhood, in the inner city of a highly populated area, and it's fucking Minnesota so it's witch tit cold here about 9 months out of the year.
Seriously, I do love MN though. Or else I wouldn't live here. Ok, I'd probably live here because of the amazing medical specialists and abundance of special needs resources. We live about 5 min from 2 of the best pediatric specialty hospitals in the country.
Plus, MN is breathtakingly beautiful. And there's a lake about every 10 feet. Aaaaaand I'm one of those crazymutherfuckers who happens to like snow!!!

4) Awwww maaaaaaan...I am no good at jokes. I can never remember them when I need to, and I always fuck up the punchline or leave a part out or some shit.
I'll just tell you an old Eddie Murphy joke that I love.
A bear and a rabbit were taking a shit in the woods. The bear turns to the rabbit and says "Excuse me...do you have problems with shit sticking to your fur?" The rabbit replied "No, I don't."
So the bear wiped his ass with the rabbit.

That's all folks...I'll be here all week...don't forget to tip your waitress...

5) I'm sure someone's said this already but...
I want Midnight Sun like Bella wants to be a Vampire.
Stephanie Meyer is cockblocking Midnight Sun like Edward cockblocks Bella, in order to protect her virtue.
Luckily, eventually they fade to black, um...I mean they do it, and Bella does become vamp so hopefully SM will get her shit together and GIVE ME WHAT I WANT DAMMIT!!!

I thought maybe if I yelled at her she would listen. Apparently she listens like my 2 yr old.

5 part deux) Oh fuuuuuuuuuuck me....you know how I am about music. I could never choose just one, but the very first song that came to mind is 'Posession' by Sarah McLachlan.

Okays. I'm done. I'll go read and find out how many people I inadvertantly plageurized. :)

xoxo

I came over by way of MB today. Lemme just take this hook off from around my neck. :O)

1. hmmm...maybe twilight written across the bum, like a rumper sticker. No, ne'ermind. No tattos Twilight related at this time, thanks.

2. Least fav. Hopefully not Eclipse or BD!
Fav: Twilight and To Kill A Mockingbird

3. I have several really nice parks and concert venues nearby me. And Dunkin Donuts 3 minutes away-love that!

4. Some joke that begins "Edward, the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, and the tooth fairy were all sitting around discussing..." and ends with, "because only Edward is Real." Ya know, one of those jokes.

5. I want Stephenie to finish MS as badly as Tiger needs a good lawyer and a new wingman.

6. Bryan Adams song "Where Angels Fear to Tread"

Lyrics:
The way we fit together
Its like we're meant to be
And right here and right now
this is paradise to me

I never thought I'd find someone to move me
Someone who could see right through me
You found your way into my head <------
Where even angels fear to tread.

Now I want to go find that Paramore song to listen to because that sounds great too!

@smartE - you can believe you came out atop the cheesecake debate, that's fine by me. ;) I know which one of us is right.
@Mrs P - that tatt would be hi-fucking-larious.

I am laughing my ass off at all your jokes, by the way. I LOVE THEM!

OK, my answers, in case anyone's curious...

1- I don't think I'd get a Twi-tatt. If I did, it would be obscure, like "Be Safe" in script right above my lady parts. ;) But that would stretch with a pregnancy and not be as funny or attractive after that. I like the idea of an apple tatt, like we could all get them and that would mark us as twitards (idea for Forks??? j/k).

2- Favorite book-movie adaptation: The Lord of the Rings trilogy, hands down. The only thing Peter Jackson fucked up was the Ents (which, admittedly, I took hard because they were one of my favorites in the books). Other than that, absolutely like the books come to life for me.
Least favorite: Contact. You have got to be fucking kidding me with this movie. I get that in a movie you can't have everything the book had (except see LotR above, which came pretty close), but for Contact they changed the most bizarre shit. Like, the opposite parent is dead (this is not a spoiler, one parent is dead from the beginning) - why change that? Stupid and irritating. I hate that movie with the heat of a thousand suns.

3- Today the weather is beautiful, but that's not generally the case, so that's not why I like it here. I like how big city/small town Portland feels. Like, we have most everything bigger cities have, but it feels pretty small-town sometimes. It's nice.

4- Um, I don't know any good jokes, that's why I asked you all. Bahahaha - just kidding. Which one should I tell???

What do you call cheese that isn't yours?

Nacho cheese.

:D

5- I want SM to finish Midnight Sun like Tiger wants to get laid.

BONUS- "I Remember" by Damien Rice
Lyrics:
I remember it well
The first time that I saw
Your head around the door
'Cause mine stopped working

I remember it well
There was wet in your hair
I was stood in the stairs
And time stopped moving

I want you hear tonight
I want you hear
'Cause I can't believe what I found
I want you hear tonight
I want you hear
Nothing is taking me down, down, down...

I wanna hear what you have to say about me
Hear if you're gonna live without me
I wanna hear what you want

~*~

Yay for Friday!!!

1) Would you ever get a Twilight-related tatt, and, if so, what would you get? If not, why not?

I like this one with all the book cover images in it http://whattheforks.wordpress.com/2009/07/03/twi-tatts-continued/real-twilight-tattoo-twilight-series-4802713-480-6401/ but it is too big for me. New Moon is my favorite book so I could see me getting the flower from the book cover. But I doubt I will. I for sure will get a small scorpion on my lower back one of these days (I am a Scorpio).

2) What are your favorite and least favorite book-to-movie adaptations, and why?

Least fave: The Accidental Tourist - Amazing book, horrid movie.

Fave: DaVinci Code - although somewhat different I thought the movie stood on its own as a good movie and I really enjoyed both the book and movie.

3) What do you like most about where you currently live?

Small town, know my neighbors, can walk to lots of things, gorgeous park right down the street, my work is only 20 minutes away with great scenery on the way there, Dangrmomma is only 40 minutes away, major cities only an hour or so away, major airport only an hour away, lower taxes because it is a small town, old town charm, I love it here.

4) Tell us your best/funniest joke.

Sorry I don't have any jokes that I can think of.

5) How badly do you want Stephenie to finish Midnight Sun?

As much as Leah wants to get away from Sam.

BONUS Imagine you’re in charge of picking the song for the very end of BD (when Bella lifts her shield and Edward can read her thoughts) – what song would you choose to play through that moment and sweep us into credits for the end of the saga?

The words to the Doobie Brothers "I Can Read Your Mind" are perfect but the music doesn't really work.

OK, all. This was a super hard decision, but because I liked her joke so much, the winner is....

STONEY!

Congratulations!!
I agree with everyone about the Stephen King adaptations situations, btw. I'm currently reading Under the Dome, and I actually hope they *don't* make it into a movie. Thanks for answering all my questions, ladies! This was fun!!

@Jayla ~ Misery!! Yes...that was a close one, but they left out alot of the mutilation and torture in the movie. Kathy Bates was perrrrrrrfect in that role! :)

@Dangrdafne ~ NM was my fave book too! I know I'm in the minority, so it's good to hear someone else say that! I have a feeling that Eclipse might be my fave movie though...we'll see...
We should get our tatt's on the same day and document it for the fandom!!! Mayyyyybeeeee. ;)

@Stoney ~ Hats off to you on the win babes! Happy Day of Birth! The world was blessed the day you were born. xo

Okay Musing Bella - I know I'm late and you've already chosen the winner but thought I had to respond to your FFF (congrats btw for being last weeks winner)

1) No, I would never get a tattoo. After doing cadaver dissections in med school and seeing the inside of people after they've been tattooed and knowing that it all your lymph system blue for that whole part of your body I am way too disgusted. Plus I think it looks funny when elderly have a tattoo (except the sailor ones still look hot).

2) Favourite and least favourite - oh, you ask hard questions.
I like Pride & Prejudice of course and also Clueless for Emma and also Bridges of Madison County. I didn't like the Notebook as much since the book made me cry way more.

3) Living in Vancouver I wish I could say I love the outdoors and partake in all the great outdoor sports. Alas I am an indoor girl and I don't even like sitting on grass or on the beach unless I'm on a towel - I know, I'm a prissy brat. I like that Vancouver is big enough to have big stores like Tiffany's and also close enough to the USA to travel easily. The weather is the best there is in Canada and yes, sigh, we have beautiful outdoors so even when it's misty and rainy at least the mountains are beautiful.

4) I absolutely suck at jokes. I love all the ones in Maxim but can't remember one to save my life.

5) I want her to finish Midnight Sun so badly that I would (almost) give up licking maple syrup off of Rob Pattinson's abs in New Moon - okay I take that back ;)

6) As I've confessed to Poptarrts popular music is not my forte. I would almost choose a classical song if I could.
I think Windmills of Your Mind by Sting might be interesting just because of the whole lifting the shield thing.

Phew, finally finished the FFF even if it was 2 days late :)
