YAY! FFF! Full of Win!!! I'm so excited. Thank you Musing Bella for digging my doggie joke. I'm flattered.


My brain doesn't always work so forgive me if questions have been repeated. I would like to say that I searched through the FFF archives to ensure no duplication but...meh...WAY to lazy for that.
Ok, so without further ado...here is your Friday Fun Five Stoney style.

1. We all know the game 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon right? (If not I'm sure someone will link it for you right about HERE). So let's play 6 Degree's of Robert Pattinson. How many people/acquaintances does it take to connect you to The Precious? For example this is mine: I went to high school with Daniel Vosovic (from Project Runway fame), we were not super close friends but he still hugs me when he see's me so I guess that is a good sign...he designed a dress for the New Moon red carpet event for singer/songwriter Anya Marina who sang Satellite Heart on the New Moon Soundtrack...Anya Marina has met The Precious. Now...how about you? Think hard! If you don't have one...YOU DO NOW, so instead tell me how excited you are that I have given you under 6 degree's of Patzy.

2. In honor of Glee coming back this month, I would like to know what your "go to" shower/car song is. Most of us like to belt it when we think no one is listening...or if you are me you do it anyway and ignore dirty looks from your coworkers...so what is your favorite American Idol-In-Your-Car audition song?

3. If you could go back and redo one moment in your life what would it be and why? It doesn't matter if you want a do-over because you made a huge mistake and you would like it rectified...or if the moment was so amazing you would love to relive it one more time.

4. I'm a sucker for the paranormal. I'm pretty sure I want to have Dave Tango's babies (from Ghost Hunters). Sure I know this has nothing to do with my question I just thought I would throw it out there. Anyway...*shakes head to clear images of Dave Tango and the things I would like to do with him to have said babies out of my head* Have you ever had a ghostly encounter? If so..spill it.

5. I got grounded a lot as a kid. Especially in High School. What was the worst thing you ever did that got you in trouble with your Parentals?

So, I can't be the only one who got grounded for racing across the world to save the vampire I was in love with from committing suicide, right?  Oh, hang on....that wasn't me, it was Bella.  Oops.

Community FanFic Thursday - Midnight Sun!

Hello Ho's!  I'm finally home and MrStan is at work. All I need to do is get the kids back to school next week and I'll be all back to normal!  The weather's lovely here at the mo, all sunny and cheerful, fingers crossed it stays like it for a while now!

I finally got around to seeing Remember Me on Monday with Mary.  I'm not going to say anything about it now, because Becky saw it the same night and we've been having a chat with Nibbles and Mary about what we thought of it, and I'll post that soon.

Ok, on with CFF, it is Thursday after all!  We've had some new followers in the past week welcome to the depravity & thanks for joining us!  In case you've never seen Community Fanfic Thursday before, we basically have a go at writing a fanfic a bit each - anything goes apparently (yep, we even had bestiality one week *heave*).  If you want to have a turn then just post first to say that you're going to have a go, that way it stops people overlapping.  Today we're starting off with a paragraph from Midnight Sun.

  Bella did not sleep as well tonight.  She thrashed in her blankets, her face sometimes worried, sometimes sad.  I wondered what nightmare haunted her...and then realized that perhaps I really didn't want to know.
  When she spoke, she mostly muttered derogatory things about Forks in a glum voice.  Only once, when she sighed out the words "Come back" and her hand twitched open - a wordless plea- did I have a chance to hope she might be dreaming of me.

Anyhow, after my revelations yesterday (blush) back to the blather and tosh I'm known for...so hands up all you ho's who saw Cedric Diggory in Order of the Phoenix and thought, oo nice looking lad, bit young...haha, I did, waves hand enthusiastically...anyone else admitting it?

I came across (ahem) some pictures from a Harry Potter photoshoot and the similarities in poses, my Rob, you could see how he was progressing...

Hey Ladies and ho's you must have seen/heard about this rumour that Courtney Love wants our Precious to play Kurt Cobain? Me thinks she just wants to get into Robbies pants more like...here is the blurb from the Sun newspaper over here.

Now I remember Kurt as being quite a hunny when he was clean & sober, something about those blue eyes, the angst he so obviously suffered from. He was the epitomy of the troubled artist.

I loved Nirvana. Nevermind, the iconic album spoke absolute volumes to me and I still love it to this day.

As I've mentioned I used to blag tickets to gigs as I wrote a few lines here and there for a couple of fanzines, nothing fantastic but it was a brilliant time for rock music and me!! The Seattle scene was opening up, coffee shop rock as it was called was taking over; Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, MotherLove Bone, Sonic Youth and Kyuss amongst many others were making it big and I was in my element.

I saw Pearl Jam at a tiny club in Birmingam called Edwards Number 8, I eventually worked there as a bouncer...yes I said bouncer, I also took the money on the door.

I met Eddie Vedder backstage for a chat and he was quite odd lol, very poetic and very, very attractive ahem...He was extremely hard to interview as he spoke so quietly but he talked about how meaningful his music was to him and what it meant to be able to play live and there was passion in that man.

Can Rob pull it off? I want to pull it off Rob please...

Now Nirvana played the Hummingbird in Birmingham and I couldn't get me a free pass so I bought tickets...shock £7.50 a princely sum lmao and I blagged a back stage pass when I got in, I knew the staff so it was fairly easy. The gig was once of the best I had been to, the energy they played with, every ounce of emotion was rung from each note they played. The crowd was frantic, excited and blown away. Nirvana was just breaking, Nevermind was fast becoming THE album to have and Teen Spirit was an anthem for the forgotten, the down trodden, the hormone crazed teens of that moment. When they played it, the whole place went supernova, I thought rioting might start as the pit became a mass of fighting animals. Fantastic! Teen spirit was in the air and every fucker was breathing it...hell yeah!

When I got to speak to Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl, they were totally and utterly wasted, worn out and wrung out. Kurt was barely coherent, not through drugs but because they had put so much in to the gig. Krist was the most articulate and Dave was the funniest whereas Kurt was the most magnetic and said the least of anyone. He had piercing blue eyes and was definately the poster boy for the lost and bewildered. I actually felt sorry for him. He wanted to make music, he wanted to be famous but he admitted that fame wasn't all it was cracked up to be. I said that this was only the start for them and he nodded but looked very glum. I was only 5 minutes in his presence but my heart went out to him big time.

So there you go, sorry not lots of Rob pictures but I still love this band, Dave Grohl has gone on to form Foo Fighters who I also adore...wonder if he'll remember me LMAO...I wish... and Krist Novoselic played in several other bands after the demise of Cobain but nothing really came of them and now he writes a weekly column for Seattle News Weekly on music and politics.

Do we think Rob can pull it off? I dunno, there's the accent thing....I think he has the talent for it, he's certainly got angst off pat and it would stretch his acting abilities and give him chance to play music so yeah I think I'd go with him (hehehe). I dunno about Scarlett Joho to play Love though, I think she is over estimating how her looks were pmsl.

Yay it's Saturday, the sun is shining, in fact its bloody beautiful here today even my shitty garden looks less shitty than usual....WIN!!!

Right so on Wednesday 7th April me and my 4 semi twi hards went to see Remember Me and I'm sooo glad I sat by Nicky as she totally GETS where I'm coming from with Rob.

Yes pun intended!

You know I couldn't find a single billboard, picture whatever to pose against in the flick house, I was very disappointed...Odeon, I'm looking at you!


So we all arrived, pushed in the queue cos we is Twiharded right, no queuing for us ho's...(actually we'd prepaid tickets so we didn't have to queue and my friends are a little up market so fightings not good-whispers) I had brought mini E and also Mrs P with me which er raised a few eyebrows....ahem I am officially crazy now according to my friends...

(like they didn't know pfft)

Ok these are my semi Twi-hards, semi cos they haven't reached my level of hardedness yet. Mrs P had evolved into twins here. L-R Fanny Annie, Sooby dooby (more twi-harded than the others), Nic-o-la, slightly behind the others as she is majorly leggy (cow) and Juanita Anita.

I used to work with these ladies back in 91, we have been through, spearations, divorce, childbirth, weddings, and milestone birthdays together and we meet up once a month as we all live apart now and have now come together again in our Twi-ness and appreciation of The Perfect One...wipes tear...I love those ladies

Mrs P got told off here, no flash photography in the cinema. I asked if it was ok without the flash and the guy looked really confused and mumbled I guess so...fucking bozo. I like to fuck with male minds bwahahaha...rubs hands together in glee...


Mini E took his place nestled against the boo-barge natch. I was giggling so much Edward was getting motion sickness, the boobs jiggle like no other jello seen! Can you see the tears forming in my eyes...I was getting serious, you're gonna get kicked out looks from people at this point!


The lights went out, the waffle level dropped, the film began and I was lost in his eyes, shoulders, legs, er the story... Actually I loved this film, I'm not going to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen it. It was well acted, the accents er ok, move on, it was moving beyond anything I have seen in a long time and the ending OH MY FUCKING GOD I did not see that coming...at all...ever. I mean I knew sorta what happened but not how..shit. I was talking to Jeanette from Robmusement (waves @J, I so love that picture site you told me about) and we discussed the film and how much awesomesauce there was in it. I am getting it on DVD definately not just because of Rob although I did like seeing him take his shirt off a lot but because it is a good film...a 10+ on the soggy tissue scale I gave it on Face Fuck..book.

This is where I was thinking bitch...

Oh yes one incident, there is a part where Tyler is trying to get a date with Ali and she says she is 19 and he says I can do teens...I looked a my now cinema soul mate Nicky and went yeah i can do teens too, we giggles and I snorted the biggest snort ever in my history and the people around us cracked up...oh yeah those ladies knew where I was coming from

So off we went for food and discussion to Frankie & Bennys Italian restaurant...I love F&B yum

Edward was choosing for everyone apparently and he did so well!

I had a fabulous time, mini E was entertaining and beautiful as ever, he told me it was strange watching himself as someone else on screen but he enjoyed it all the same. Thanks to my friends and the staff of F&B for letting me take pictures and not batting an eyelid over me playing with edward in public...sigh...if only...

Oh yes one more thing my signed copy of Beautiful Creatures arrived with some goodies. Thanks to One Pushy Fox for posting it out to me I really am so happy to have won it.

Friday Fun Five (+1)!!

Hello my lovely ho's!  Yes, I'm back from the land of 'kicked up the bum by RL'!  It's been horrible away from you all, I've not even had chance to read all of the bloggy goodness out there for the past week.  Well, at last Mr Stan has some work so is out of the house for the day, the kids are all well again, the visitors have left and the decorating can go fuck itself :o).

Thanks to everyone who read and reviewed my first attempt at a one-shot Unravel Me.  Unfortunately I didn't get through to the final 20 stories in the Black Balloon Contest that go to the public vote today.  Good luck to everyone who did though.  There were 72 entries in total, so I say that anyone that even got through to the last 20 did incredibly well. 

As far as my one-shot is concerned, well, that's just the beginning.  I'd already started work on a new Edward & Bella fic and decided to write Unravel Me as Edward's back story to get more of a feel for where he's coming from.  I can't wait to start posting my new one online, but Natural Satellites & Shooting Stars is still ongoing and hasn't been updated in a while so I need to do some work on that first.  Oh, and Jingle Balls seems to have had a rise in popularity, for some mysterious reason it's been favourited by six new people this month :oS.  It still makes me laugh how popular it's been when I rattled it out so quickly and posted it without a beta or anything.

Anyway, enough about me, it's Friday which means it's the Friday Fun Five!  This week's questions are from Musing Bella, so over to her!

OME!! I am beyond flattered that StarlitViolets chose me to win last Friday's Fun Five - who knew I just had to write her a mini-semi-porno? Anyway, I hope I don't repeat any previous questions, because I recently came out as Team Robsten, and I feel I might be walking a fine line with some of you as a result. 1) This week I found a photo of a half-sleeve tattoo of what I think is supposed to be Rob as Edward holding an apple in the forest, and underneath are the words "You are my life now." Would you ever get a Twilight-related tatt, and, if so, what would you get? If not, why not?
